Laboratory Analyst, Junior Instrument Operator
Location: ALS Environmental, Burlington
Reports to: Operations Supervisor-HRMS
About the Position
This position is responsible for the analysis, data processing, and reporting of data from the HRMS and GC/MSMS systems. On a daily basis, this person is primarily responsible for the analysis of routine analytical methods, including the assessment, coding, and reporting of analytical data, and instrument maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze samples for routine organic chemistry parameters with input from others
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure that assigned HRMS or GC/MSMS instrumentation is in good working order
- Data processing, review and reporting (LIMS and Excel) for a variety of instrument methods
- Evaluate data and troubleshoot problems with the data/extraction/analysis
