Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Laundry Assistants to join our growing team, working with a leading workwear and linen laundry service based in Footscray.
This role involves working with industrial washing machines and dryers, handling primarily uniforms and linen.
Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm and/or 6am- 2pm
Saturday OT
$30-$31 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely handle and transport 100kg+ laundry loads using an overhead pulley system
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive overhead reaching and pushing/pulling heavy loads
- Loading and operating industrial washing machines and dryers
- Entering weight of garments into a computerised system
- Folding uniforms and linen with precision
- Maintaining a clean and organised work space
