Job Description
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, care, and proper handling of all linens, uniforms, and laundry items. This role involves washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing laundry while maintaining a high standard of hygiene and efficiency. The Laundry Attendant contributes to smooth operations by ensuring an adequate supply of clean items is always available.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and inspect laundry items (e.g., linens, towels, uniforms, guest clothing) by color, fabric, and care requirements.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use the appropriate amount and type of detergent, bleach, and other cleaning agents.
- Fold, press, and iron items as required.
