Lead Mainframe Development (Migration)

Job Description

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience in Mainframe Application Development and Technical Solution Architecture.
• Expert‑level skills in COBOL.
• Strong expertise in JCL including SORT and ICETOOL.
• Experience with DB2 and SQL batch integration with performance considerations.
• Strong knowledge of VSAM including KSDS, ESDS, and RRDS.
• Proven experience working on legacy application migration or modernization programs.
• Ability to interpret and reengineer complex legacy logic into maintainable batch solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Experience:

• Hands‑on experience performing or reviewing COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM development.
• Experience supporting system testing, performance tuning, and production readiness.
