The opportunity:
At Leonardo, we have an opportunity for a Lead Supportability Engineer to join our Supportability team.
The Supportability Engineering discipline has a unique position within our business as it is involved in all the stages of a programme, from initial development, production, customer support and repairs, and eventually disposal.
This role would suit someone with a background in Production Support, and Engineering Leadership, who is looking for a new challenge. We are looking to speak to experienced engineers with an understanding of radar or electro-optical systems.
What you’ll do:
Lead a team of engineers working with our Advanced Targeting sector to deliver Supportability Work Packages in support of Integrated Project Teams.
Deliver an effective Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) in support of the Production and In-Service phases of the Product Life Cycle.
