About the Role

• Supporting learners aged 16-25 with a range of learning disabilities and complex needs
• Providing support on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within the main classroom
• Assisting with both academic learning and life skills development
• Supporting with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
• Managing and responding to challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies
• Encouraging independence, communication, and social interaction
• Supporting learners with emotional regulation and engagement in activities
• Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff
