Legacy Software Support Engineer

Overview
Seeking engineers experienced in supporting and troubleshooting legacy enterprise
applications and operating systems no longer supported by OEM vendors.

Responsibilitie
Provide L2/L3 remote support for legacy applications and middleware
Diagnose performance issues, system failures, and configuration problems
Apply patches, workarounds, and stability improvements
Maintain documentation and knowledge bases

Skills
Strong experience with AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Windows Server 2003/2008
Knowledge of WebSphere, MQ, DB2, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat
Ability to troubleshoot without vendor documentation
Shell/Python/Perl scripting is a plus
