Job Description

• Provides guidance and direction to Pharmacist on patient and evaluates work performance of the pharmacist to ensure that patients’ needs are met.
• Serves as a resource person in solving problems of patient care.
• Ensures that the established policies and procedures are followed.
• Provides drug control considering proper storage and dispensing, ensures that all states and drug laws are followed.
• Provides for proper record keeping and billing.
• Maintains professional competence, especially in drug and procedures of the dispensing area.
• Keeps the dispensing area neat and orderly.
• Ensures that all record for administering Dangerous Drugs in kept correctly.
• The Pharmacist should act as a Liaison between Pharmacist, Nursing and Medical Staff, communicates with Nurses and Physician regarding medication administration probl...
