What qualifications are we looking for?
At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals.The successful candidates will have the following;National Lifeguard - Pool certification
Standard First Aid (recertified within the last 36 months)
CPR C certification (recertified within the last 12 months)
Lifesaving Instructor would be considered an asset
Evidence of a clear Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search
Three professional references

Lifeguards will:Ensure a safe aquatic environment by following National Lifeguard standards and/or YMCA Policies and Procedures
Demonstrate exceptional customer service
Are knowledgeable of YMCA programs and services
