Linux Security Engineer (eBPF / Rust)

We0re looking for a senior Linux Security Engineer to join a long-term freelance project focused on building an advanced eBPF-based security agent that operates deep inside Linux systems.

This is a highly technical role, ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to the kernel , with strong ownership over security, performance, and system-level design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize an eBPF-based Linux security agent
• Analyze Linux kernel structures and system calls to detect and mitigate threats
• Contribute to system architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work closely with security, systems, and product engineers
• Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the community
• Participate in research and innovation around runtime security and detection techniques
