MANTECH seeks a motivated, mission-focused Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will help maintain and enhance the Sponsor’s Linux environment alongside a talented team. You will be responsible for the operating system software and its seamless integration with hardware and applications across the organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning, testing, installing, integrating, and maintaining new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems
- Building and hardening Linux servers, and establishing configuration baselines while applying all appropriate security and firmware patches in a timely manner
- Developing test plans/procedures, managing operating system lifecycles, and designing interfaces to external systems
