Job Description
SUMMARY: Company Drivers are responsible for overseeing and leading Armstrong's full-cycle transportation initiatives, including, but not limited to packing, padding, inventory, loading, transporting, unloading, and unpacking. The Driver will operate a tractor trailer (CDL A) or a straight truck (CDL B) to receive, store, and distribute equipment and goods. This requires handling of materials, as well as overseeing helpers in the packing, loading, and unloading of materials. Strong Customer Service skills are required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate trucks for the local delivery, pick-up, and relocation of product and materials.
- Protect customer's items and property using pads, tape, and other material to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
