Log Loader / Hoe Forwarder Operator – Northern Vancouver Island, BC

Equipment: Madill 4800 Series Loaders

Wage: $43.68 per hour

Location: Northern Vancouver Island, BC

Work Hours: 50 hours per week, full-time

Lemare Forestry Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Log Loader / Hoe Forwarder Operators to join our coastal operations team on Northern Vancouver Island.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience operating Madill 4800 size log loaders
• Robust West Coast logging experience required
• Experience loading both off‑highway (90‑ton loads) and highway trucks
• Demonstrated experience hoe forwarding in steep coastal terrain
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment
• Strong understanding of coastal logging practices and hazards
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
• First Aid certification considered an asset
