Stella-Jones is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipments from our Prince George plant. This role emphasizes organization, problem-solving, and communication skills while coordinating rail and truck logistics for critical infrastructure products.
As a Logistics Coordinator at Stella-Jones, you will support the transportation of pole and rail tie products. You will collaborate closely with production to ensure timely shipments, manage railcar orders, and confirm documentation accuracy. The position may also require occasional on-call support during storm response logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate outbound shipments via truck and rail
• Schedule and manage railcar movements and paperwork
• Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading
• Enter shipment details in SAP and monitor freight records
• Communicate with customers about delivery status
