What you'll do:
Act as the Local Process Equipment Authority (LPEA – Leather Wrapping), leading steering wheel assembly processes with a strong focus on leather treatment, cutting, and wrapping, ensuring compliance with global manufacturing standards and driving the 1 Product / 1 Process (1P1P) strategy.
Lead end-to-end leather process development, from material selection and leather grading/quality (gild) through preparation, cutting, and final wrapping, supporting new product launches (NPS), quotations, and process validation.
Drive continuous improvement in leather manufacturing processes, including pattern design, process definition, and implementation of best practices to optimize efficiency, reduce scrap, and ensure high‐quality finishing in leather‐wrapped components.
