The M&E Design Engineer plays a vital role within the design team. You will be working on a range of substation design projects, providing design support and deliverables for Mechanical & Electrical elements. You would be working within a wider project team, completing detailed designs and calculations.
Here is are some of the responsibiltes you'd be involved in...
1. You will carry out detailed design and calculations activities for M&E functions of substations including;
LVAC design including EV charging, cable schedules and calculations
Lighting design, internal and external
Fire/Alarm
Containment
HVAC (advantageous but not essential)
Earthing (advantageous but not essential)2. Provide support to wider design team, ensuring compliance to relevant industry standards
