Are you a reliable, hands-on professional looking for a diverse workshop role? Randstad is seeking a skilled Profile Machine Operator / Trades Assistant to join our client.
In this dual-focused role, you will be responsible for operating the plasma / oxy-fuel profile cutting machine, shop floor programming, and providing essential support to the tradespeople and general workshop operations. If you enjoy a mix of machine operation, materials handling, and teamwork, this is the role for you!
What We’re Looking For (Essential Criteria)
Licensing: Valid Forklift license is mandatory.
Experience: Proven experience in materials handling and operating hand/power tools. (Prior profile cutting experience is highly regarded). Overhead gantry crane experience is essential. Dogging licence would be ideal!
