Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Fabricate or repair parts using a variety of materials where setups are non-routine and tolerances of +/- .001 or less are difficult to maintain. Operate and set up a variety of machines and toll equipment and work closely with Quality Control and Engineering personnel to ensure quality and product specifications are adhered to. Preform general maintenance on machine tools and equipment, design and program equipment using CAD/CAM software.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manufacture a variety of detailed machine components on manual or CNC machines according to blueprint specifications. Preform most setups and operations using all related machine shop tools and equipment. Some machine types include Mill, Lathe, Turning Center, Drill Press. Internal/External Grinder, Surface Grinder and hand operations.
