As a Mainframe Engineer, you will be instrumental in our strategic initiative to modernize and enhance our mainframe environment. This role involves not only maintaining our existing systems but also driving the migration from legacy tools and processes to more modern, efficient solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
System Modernization & Optimization:
Lead the migration from Endevor to a Git-based DevOps solution. Transition monitoring systems to Omegamon for improved performance insights. Oversee the move from CA1 to RMM for storage and tape management. Migrate scheduling systems from Control-M or CA7 to more advanced solutions.Application Support & Development:
