Job Description
Position: Maintenance Tech
1st shift: 7:00 am -3:30 pm, M-F
Location: Sturtevant, WI
Salary: $30-36 range based on experience
Position overview: Under the direction of the Production Manager, this position repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, heating systems, plumbing, systems, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, power material moving equipment and all other equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
Preparation:
•Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble
• Have all necessary tools required at your work station and in proper working condition
• Follow proper lock out/tag out procedures
Tasks:
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
