Purpose of the Job

To provide a professional management accounting service to management and staff to improve efficiency, maximise profits and to supply meaningful, relevant and accurate information timeously as a tool for decision making.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements BCom Degree or NQF 7 Equivalent is essential Cost and Management/Financial Accounting Honours Degree is desirable Understanding mining business processes is essential Management accounting techniques application is essential 5-7 years finance experience in the mining environment is essential 3–5 years' experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial forecasting in a managerial role is essential Competencies Understanding of mining business processes In depth knowledge of best accounting practices - cost control and planning Knowledge of specific accounting packages, i.e. SAP, Excel Knowledge of interpreting financial information Knowledge of applicable legislation - international accounting standards...
