Overview
Title: Manager, Credit Risk Oversight (Brazil)
The Manager, Credit Risk Oversight supports the Vice President Credit Risk in providing independent Second Line of Defense oversight of credit risk across the Brazil portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Perform second line oversight of credit risk activities executed by the first line of defense, ensuring alignment with local and global credit risk policy and appetite.
- Review credit proposals, portfolio metrics, and risk reports to ensure they meet policy and appetite requirements.
- Provide effective challenge on underwriting decisions, risk assessments, and control effectiveness.
- Support escalation of material issues, breaches, or emerging risks to the Vice President.
- Oversee the Brazil Credit Risk Assessment Framework, including methodology application and controls.
