Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager, Permitting based on‑site in Mississauga to manage permitting for a large airport project. This is a newly created position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the owner’s (client) permitting obligations.
- Manage the Permitting team to coordinate and assure a robust permit‑to‑work process across the program.
- Develop and implement revised governance and processes required for effective permitting on a program of this size, scale, and complexity.
- Liaise with other client departments (corporate safety and security, operations, commercial, and maintenance) to coordinate permitting.
- Confirm contractors’ permitting plans and implement the assurance regime for the program.
- Work collaboratively with the Program Leads and other PMO Services functional leads to ensure that Permitting is integrated across the program.
