About the Role

This onsite role supports Google Cloud’s Hardware Quality & Fleet Reliability initiatives at the Papillion Data Center.

The engineer will analyze hardware issues, perform first-level RCA, and support data-driven improvements to server reliability and system availability.



Key Responsibilities

Investigate data center hardware quality tickets

Perform structured RCA and failure analysis

Analyze fleet performance data using SQL/Python

Identify recurring issues and escalate to engineering teams

Support process improvements to enhance system availability

Create and improve deployment and repair documentation



Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, or related)
