Set the course as Master on a modern bulk carrier trading worldwide with OSM Thome. Take full command of vessel operations, safety, and crew, and ensure smooth, efficient voyages across global routes.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Overall command of the vessel and crew
- Ensure safe navigation and cargo operations
- Maintain compliance with company, flag state, and international regulations
- Lead and train officers and ratings
- Oversee maintenance, inspections, and documentation
- Manage communication with owners, charterers, and agents
- **Requirements**:
- Valid STCW Master (Unlimited) CoC
- Recent experience as Master or Chief Officer on bulk carriers
- Strong command of English, spoken and written
- Good leadership and crew management skills
- Clean seagoing record and valid medical certificate
