• Confirming correct materials by matching with specifications; conducting visual inspections, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Ensures product labeling is correct and matched paperwork.
• Pulling inventory from storage area to ensure enough supply is available for the entire shift’s production
• Ensuring correct lot number for respective job run
• Recording material usage
• At the start of the shift, ensure all workstations are fully stocked with each material and component needed
• During the shift, ensure adequate supply to keep each operator working.
• At the end of the shift, ensure all workstations are fully re-stocked with each material and components needed.
• Handling containers
• Proper break-down and disposal of material shipper boxes and common trash
