Job Description
The Lead Material Handler is responsible for coordinating daily material handling activities, ensuring accurate inventory control and supporting production readiness. This role serves as a team lead, providing guidance, training and workflow direction to material handling staff while also ensuring compliance with industry standards, quality requirements and internal procedures.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Leads daily material handling operations including receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, issuing, and shipping of components and material. Coordinates workflow and prioritizes tasks to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements. Ensures timely and accurate movement of materials across warehouse and production areas. (20%)
+ Maintains high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and ERP/MRP system transactions. Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective act...
