Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to join our team as a Material Handler. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of shipments and deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming material, verifying information on packing slips with handling units (HU) to confirm accuracy of shipment or damage.
- Perform routine shipping, receiving, and handling tasks.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with material and equipment handling programs, including data entry.
- Guide and train new warehouse team members on job function and responsibilities.
- Conduct physical inventory and/or cycle counts to verify correct inventory management.
- Post inward and outward movement of material in the EWM system with quantities and storage location to ensure correct inventory management.
