The Material Planner is responsible for reviewing engineering drawings and work instructions (PMRs) to identify material needs, plan replacements, and ensure alignment with project timelines. This role works closely with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams to coordinate material flow and resolve issues.
The key responsibilities for this role will be:
•Review surveyed systems and drawings to identify material issues and plan replacements.
• Interpret PMRs and drawing specifications to determine material requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering for direction and clarification.
• Engage with supply chain to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Manage and release purchase requisitions to procurement.
• Act as an expeditor—tracking orders, providing updates, and ensuring alignment with project timelines.
