Maths Tutor/Teacher - Part Time

Overview

Maths Tutor – Location: Leicester Training Centre LE1 6TF

Contract: Permanent (4 days per week, Monday–Thursday). Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 FTE (pro rata for 4 days - £22,400 - £28,000 ). This role involves delivering high-quality teaching to young people aged 16–18, with a 4-day week (Monday–Thursday).

You’ll support learners to achieve Functional Skills and GCSE Maths , helping them build confidence and progress into further education or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Learning
  • Deliver engaging, innovative group sessions in Maths (Functional Skills & GCSE)
  • Plan lessons tailored to curriculum standards and individual learner needs
  • Embed knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) into sessions
