Assembly Technician (Full Time)

Skills Required

• Mechanical assembly & fitting – including of bearings, sprockets, gearboxes etc.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical diagrams
• Operation of hand and power tools
• Working to specified timescales and tolerances
• Attention to detail and ability to spot quality issues
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards
• Keenness and interest to learn and develop within the role
• A reasonable level of strength and fitness, as the role includes aspects of manual handling

Beneficial but not critical

• Electrical assembly experience
• Crane certificate
• Scissor lift licence
• Forklift licence
