Job Description
Are you a mechanical engineer interested in vacuum, cryogenics, and electromechanical devices willing to contribute to CERN projects? If so, you will integrate into an international team working on new superconducting transfer lines. You will be involved in their production and the preparation for their installation in the CERN underground galleries.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join the Cryostats and Machine Integration (CMI) Section of the Magnets, Superconductors and Cryostats (MSC) Group within the Technology (TE) Department. Specifically, you will be involved inHL-LHC Project .
- You have a professional background in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) and have either:
- aMaster's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;
- or aPhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
