Hours: Mon‑Thurs 8:00-16:30, Fri 8:00-15:15
A leading precision engineering company in Wakefield is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to work on special purpose machinery, assembling and installing equipment to the highest quality and safety standards.
The Role
- Assemble and fit machinery from detailed engineering drawings.
- Install machinery at customer sites when required.
- Operate hand tools, lifting equipment, and workshop machinery.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow strict HSE procedures.
- Collaborate with client technical teams during installation.
- Contribute to process improvements and innovation.
