We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Database DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at HFM.
Your Role at HFM (Responsibilities):
As a Database DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Participate in the planning, management, and scaling of datastores to meet requirements.
- Protect databases through rigorous testing of backup and recovery processes and perform regular security audits.
- Use software and tooling to automate manual tasks, enabling engineers to innovate without risking data integrity.
- Conduct risk analysis to determine which database challenges to address and which to automate or optimize.
- Work closely with DevOps and team leaders to ensure high levels of standardization, reliability, testability, maintainability, and system availability.
- Educate and support developers, building necessary guardrails to empower them in their database management efforts.
