Job Description
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Shift Pattern (2-Week Rotation):
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 05:00 – 15:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 16:00 – 02:00
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role plays a key part in maintaining production efficiency within a fast-paced poultry processing and packaging operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding swiftly to breakdowns, delivering planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site, with a particular focus on mechanical maintenance and reliability.
The position involves working on a wide range of processing and packaging equipment including conveyors, module and tray transport systems, plucking equipment, evisceration machinery, tray sealers, flow wrappers and vacuum sealing machinery. This is a hands-on role requiring strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills, combined with a good understanding of electrical systems to support efficient faul...
