Overview
A Multi‑Trade Operative is responsible for delivering high‑quality repairs, maintenance, and small works across a range of building trades. The role combines practical skill, problem‑solving, and customer service to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance – Carry out day‑to‑day repairs, planned maintenance, and minor refurbishment works across domestic or commercial properties.
- Multi‑trade repairs – Undertake tasks across several trades such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, and basic electrical work.
- Fault diagnosis – Identify issues, determine the best repair method, and complete work efficiently.
- Health & safety compliance – Follow all relevant safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe‑working practices.
