Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field (Master’s preferred). Teaching qualification/license (where required). Proficiency in at least one instrument and/or vocal training. Previous teaching experience at elementary and/or secondary level preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong musical and pedagogical knowledge. Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying skill levels. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for music education. Organizational skills for planning events and performances.
The Music Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality music education to students from elementary through secondary levels, fostering creativity, musical skills, and appreciation for diverse musical genres. The role includes classroom teaching, instrumental/vocal instruction, directing school ensembles, and organizing performances and events.
