Network Engineer

Overview

Job Title: Network Engineer (Dispatch). This is a dispatch role; you'll need to visit the Richmond, BC site whenever the client needs your presence. The Network Engineer (Dispatch) role provides first and second-level technical support while managing the assignment and dispatch of service requests. This on-site role ensures end-user issues are resolved promptly—either directly or by coordinating with other technicians—by triaging tickets, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining communication between IT and users.

Responsibilities (Dispatch Activities)

• Network device installation, replacement, and troubleshooting
• Rack & stack of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, APs)
• Cable patching, labeling, and basic cable management
• Hands & feet support for remote network teams
• Site readiness checks and basic validation
• Follow client SOPs and safety guidelines
