Network Security Firewall Engineer

Role Description

Functions of Network Security Firewall Engineer includes but not limited to overall management of global infrastructure from commissioning of new firewalls, management, standards and compliance, implementations, replacements (RMAs), code upgrades, firewall related incident management, and decommissioning of EOL and defective firewalls.

• Responsible for configuration, deployment, and day to day management of customer next generation firewall solution (Palo alto and Juniper) in a 24x7 x365 environment.
• Assist monitoring, configuration changes, Firewall rule updates, accounts, and software updates.

Job Requirements

• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall operations and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Juniper firewalls.
  • Proficiency in Routing and Switching concepts.
  • Familiarity with F5 load balancers.
