Job Overview
The Onshore Rig Move Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the safe and efficient movement of drilling rigs between locations. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and strict adherence to safety standards.
The Supervisor ensures all rig move activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and HSE standards while maintaining operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Coordination
- Develop comprehensive rig move plans, including timelines, manpower allocation, and logistics requirements.
- Coordinate with Drilling, Logistics, Engineering, and HSE departments.
- Conduct pre-move meetings to communicate execution plans and responsibilities.
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies before execution.
