The Operations Planning Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the sales and operations planning process to align demand, supply, and financial goals.
The role of the Operations Planning Manager ensures cross-functional collaboration across departments such as sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, and logistics to optimize inventory, production, and distribution strategies.
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the division's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand, supply, and capacity across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Create annual capacity and operating plans while monitoring overall customer demand during both annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles.
- Develop and manage equipment loading plans to optimize production efficiency.
- Manage production planning and scheduling across facilities to ensure customer demands are met.
