Operations Supervisor

GFL Environmental is seeking a high-capacity Operations Supervisor to oversee our Delta, BC facility. This role is designed for a leader who understands that peak production is only possible through the meticulous management of both people and heavy equipment. You will be responsible for the heartbeat of our operation: the machinery and workflows that process our waste streams.

The Job

The Operations Supervisor will focus on output maximization and equipment reliability. You will be the primary lead on ensuring that our production fleet—including front-end loaders, material handlers, and processing equipment—is operated safely, efficiently, and maintained to prevent production bottlenecks. Your goal is to minimize idle time and maximize processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Utilization: Oversee the daily deployment and operation of heavy equipment (loaders, skid steers, etc.) to ensure maximum throughput in the yard and facility.
