The site is a hub for receiving large orders of gases and repackaging them into smaller containers for a diverse range of clients. The packagers play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and precise processing of these orders.
Responsibilities
- Take cylinders and load them onto racks.
- Fill cylinders using machines.
- Label cylinders accurately.
- Perform pneumatic lifting on cylinders.
- Use computers to validate gas pressure levels and consult work orders.
- Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift to move materials.
Essential Skills
- Experience in packaging and material handling.
- Mechanical inclination, especially with compressors and pneumatics.
- Ability to use documentation and basic computer skills.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift operation certification.
