Hamilton, Ontario – Part time. Salary $18.00–$20.00 per hour.
Position Requirements
Working after‑school and evening hours Mon–Thu (3:50 pm–7:30 pm) and Saturday 10:00 am–1:00 pm. Commitment through end of June preferred; continuing through summer is even better. This role is in‑person; you must be able to commute to the location. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
- Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
- Teaching certification an asset.
- Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
- Experience teaching or tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 8 (or equivalent) level.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time....
