JR PAT Testing is growing rapidly across the UK and we are looking for experienced PAT Engineers to join our team in Littlehampton. The role is self‑employed, with flexible hours allowing part‑time or full‑time work.

All engineers must have their own insurance and keep their equipment calibrated at least once a year. In return, we supply an engineer handbook, a contract of service, branded clothing, labels and technical support.

Responsibilities

As a Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) engineer you will:

• Test a wide range of appliances (microwaves, kettles, computers, etc.) using calibrated test instruments.
• Identify and document any safety issues and advise on repairs or replacement.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports and completion certificates to employers.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including electronic and paper logs.
