Responsibilities
: Define, coordinate, and monitor all emotional, educational, and social patient support activities within a chronic diseases project, like an HIV or tuberculosis project, in line with MSF principles and standards. Assess patient support needs and develop strategies based on changing medical contexts. Develop patient support tools, including counselling and education protocols, health promotion materials, and other resources. Implement patient support activities such as health talks, education and counselling sessions, defaulter tracing, support group strengthening, and community awareness activities. Monitor and evaluate patient support activities by defining indicators, collecting and analysing data, and ensuring effective follow-up.
