Responsibilities
Salary Range: $20.00/hour.
This position is primarily responsible for cleaning all various types of soluble core patterns and the pattern inspection. Ensures that all parts are cleaned thoroughly as requested and as per company procedures.
- Performs repetitive cleaning of wax and soluble core patterns.
- Performs inspection of all patterns and makes a decision to accept, repair or scrap the part per documented instructions.
- Follows established protocol for notification of potential deviations or scrap trends.
- Utilizes the necessary fixturing or gauges to assure dimensional conformance of the pattern/mold.
- Maintains the necessary stock of materials for the area to maximize productivity.
- Must pay close attention to detail.
- Sets up and maintains small appliances as required to perform specific activities.
