About the Role

The Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily asphalt paving field operations, coordinating with owners and general contractors, and organizing crews and subcontractors. The role ensures contracts are completed safely, on time, on budget, and in compliance with specifications and customer expectations. The Superintendent provides accurate revenue and cost information to accounting staff and reviews invoices and cost reports prior to release. The position plays an integral role in developing and maintaining the capabilities of the GVA operations organization to increase construction revenue and profitability, including coaching and mentoring direct reports and promoting a culture of agility, collaboration, and empowerment.
