Job Description
Responsibilities:
Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on time for salaried and hourly employeesMaintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changesEnsure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local payroll legislation and tax requirementsCalculate and reconcile payroll deductions, benefits, bonuses, commissions, and overtimePrepare and submit statutory remittances (CPP, EI, income tax, garnishments, etc.)Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely mannerReconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll approvalPrepare year-end payroll activities including T4s, ROEs, and other regulatory filingsCollaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and alignmentSupport audits by providing payroll documentation and reports a...
