Payroll Specialist
Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
WORK FROM HOME - COMPUTER PROVIDED
Experience Required: 3+ years in multi-state payroll (California preferred)
Main Responsibilities:
Process biweekly payroll for employees across multiple states (special focus on California compliance)
- Maintain records, perform reconciliations, and generate reports
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage & hour laws
- Respond to employee inquiries and support audits
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of multi-state payroll experience
- Proficiency in Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Knowledge of California wage and hour laws (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- FPC or CPP certification is a plus
